Adorable Mini Cabin
We loved staying here! It was so clean and cute inside and had everything we might need for cooking! The step up into the bedroom and the wooden floors made it feel like an old farm home, and it was the perfect place to stay on our honeymoon! The owner also let us come in a bit early as we arrived on the island in the early morning!! They were extremely accommodating and quick with communicating!

The cottace is right beside the highway which is brilliant if you come from or go to the ferry at Swartz Bay. But, traffic does create noise, you should be aware of that.

Cozy Cabin
Cute compact cottage; perfect for the 2 of us. Great location between the ferry terminal and Sidney by the Sea. Perfect location for hiking, sightseeing, and geocaching. Very "compact" kitchen, so maybe not a great choice for a long-term stay for those wishing to do a lot of their own cooking. Great internet was a real bonus!

Awesome little Cottage!
A great little cottage central to everything and everywhere we wanted to do and go. We were initially a little concerned about the proximity to the main highway but it was no issue at all. The host was excellent to deal with from start to finish. We would absolutely stay again.

The cleanliness was a little lacking.( Mouse poop in bathroom.) The coffee maker only produced half a cup when set to large setting. Coffee mate was hard and no sugar provided. Other than that it was a very nice cozy cabin. Much better than staying in a hotel. We will definetly stay here again.

Cute and Convenient
We stayed in this cute cottage for two nights near the end of September. The cottage is an interesting mixture of styles with a lovely new bathroom and well equipped kitchen. The location was so convenient...we cycled on the Lochside Trail [we started just outside the property], took a family member to the airport and later drove a short distance to the ferry. Communication with the owner was excellent!

A little treasure of Sidney/North Saanich
My family had an amazing time in the cottage. It is a very cozy, clean, surrounded by nature home. The location of the Cottage is a dream. There are several wonderful parks and hidden beaches around as for example: Lillian Hoffar park is a waterfront park located a walking distance from the property or Roberts Bay (Harbor Migratory Bird Sanctuary) beautiful corner to admire sunsets or sunrises. There are several farm markets around to buy fresh and local. There are an fromage store with a great variety of cheeses from France and Spain, and the amazing patisserie, Fickle fig in Sidney. Thrifty Foods in Sidney has perfect assortment of groceries from around the world. All these places can be easily reached by bike for about 10 minutes or possible to have a nice relaxing walk to Sidney from the property it will take about 20-30 minutes admiring the beauty of life around. Anthony is kind, caring and responsible host. We are very grateful for our time in the cottage.

Homey Private Cottage
My partner and I used this cottage as a small getaway for his birthday. It was so cozy and private. So many small details were thought about, and the host (Anthony) is wonderful. Incredibly friendly and available if we needed anything. (We didn’t because the cottage is so well thought out) Definitely recommend this as a cozy vacation. Felt very much like home. Will definitely come back again.
