“We really enjoyed our family getaway over the Labour Day. The cottage is cute and is a close drive to Bala. It would be have been preferable to be waterfront or have better lake access but the place was clean, the owners were nice and the area is still lovely. ”

Stayed in July and the cove had a nice wind tunnel effect and the cottage had windows on both sides which kept a nice breeze. Swimming was great with a soft sandy entry (some leaves but not weedy). Had very quick and detailed responses when any questions came up for the hosts. We had a great time and would come back again without hesitation. ”

“The property itself is stunning with exposure on a smaller bay and also the bigger lake. Facing south and west and east. Three different docks, a beautiful rocky point, so many great swimming options with deep water right off the property. There’s a beautiful mature perennial garden with stunning lilies and rhododendrons. Really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards and pedal boats and there are canoes.
