“Everything about the stay was amazing. Directions to the cabin were perfect, they left some really yummy huckleberry bread for us, the instructions for the hot tub were perfect. Ruth and Scott gave us plenty of privacy, but responded to our messages and texts promptly! The cabin itself was super cozy… we watched movies (even got the DVD player working!), had romantic meals by the fireplace, played some games, went out to explore the island and nearby yarn store, and walked around the property……

“Good house for a family if you can climb stairs. The amount of stairs was a surprise. . Location on the water was fabulous for kayaking. We thought it would be easy to get our kayaks down to the water from the parking area - NOT. We ended up driving to the community beach area to put our kayaks in. Saw a gray whale!! “My wife and I got away for a long weekend after being kid-free. We brought kayaks and wanted to explore the area. We enjoyed the location very much, with easy access to Hoodsport and Hama Hama. The access to the water wasn't as easy as we hoped, but the fact that there's a little county park in front of the house did work out for us. The neighbors seem very protective of the beach though, so that's weird. Luckily the smoke from the Bear Gulch fire didn't come down low enough to bother us either,……
