“Another excellent camping spot on our way to Bergen. We spent 1 night here and it was perfect. The cabin was nice and clean, the views from the camp ground were amazing and the facilities like shared kitchen, shower stalls and toilets were very clean and well kept. I felt the price was on the higher side especially for a small cabin but the premium location and the amenities probably add up. For families and large groups, this may be an excellent choice.”

We spent most of our time on daily hikes and day trips-- the hiking is challenging and highly worthwhile.The town has two small groceries open every day and a couple of shops open only on the weekends. The bakery is open daily and highly worth a visit. Rekkedal farm up the road is open for dinners two or three nights a week. A car is a necessity-- the ferry is about a mile down the road.The home is absolutely stunning--……
