The interior of the room was old and rundown. Mold in and around the tub/shower. No heat. The window wouldn’t latch to lock and the window blind was broken. The door wouldn’t close unless you did a body slam against it. The electrical outlets wouldn’t work unless you manually held whatever you needed in place. The coffee supplied made basically colored water. It was a horrible experience. I feel it was a room you should pay by the hour. Find someplace else!!

It's just an old building and the rooms need major updating. It didn't smell great in the room and carpet and shower head was nasty. It was a place to sleep, the towels were soft. Just not what I'm used to staying in when I travel, but other hotels were booked.

They wanted a $200 deposit on a one night stay of $100. I refused and said they needed to return my money or forget the deposit. There was nothing in the room that justifies a deposit let alone $200 worth. Do not recommend staying there again because of the staff rudeness and condition of the room.

I had an excellent experience at Soldotna Inn.....all was good EXCEPT the provided WIFI. I was on the West side of the building and and my max Wifi signal was 28mpbs down to 7mpbs. I could not even load my email. I could not log onto anything. On the East side where it office is, I recorded 72 mpbs and could use the Wifi signal. My room was not on that side. I was really disappointed. I notified the office and they said they would have someone ck it out. Maybe just need an signal extender, don't know. I will be traveling to Soldotna again next summer and will check with them before I book my room to see if they have this problem solved. I would like to stay their again.

The room looked half cleaned, garbage in garbage cans. The shower was great water pressure, but it didn’t drain, so standing water pooling was disgusting! I mentioned it, but no one seemed to care. Everything was older! They had fans for air conditioning, but they were CAKED IN GROSS DUST. The blinds to outside didn’t work. VERY limited “breakfast” options…But, seemed ok. They charged me for an extra night, I mentioned it, even though I canceled that night, three weeks in advance, they said “it wasn’t their problem.” That was just one desk clerk, the other desk clerk seemed kinder. Which is why she got two stars. Unfortunately, I would never recommend this place! Still waiting for a refund check!

soldotna in does not accommodate handicapped people, solo travelers, dogs, NORE service dogs. they lock us all out; & no stayy in house available at front desk until 7 am (sharp). they advertise "pet friendly" (untrue) they advertise "solo traveler safe (untrue) all they'd need to do is keep key cards ACTIVE, daily - without renewal daily ... to followed by non-stop keycard failure. i'd GLADLY write the staff & owner a grant for the experior "emergeny exit" upstairs. well. no refunds were made - despite the fact i purchased on Epedia? No.
