“Overall, our stay was just okay. Unfortunately, there was a fire ban during our visit, which took away a big part of the experience since we weren’t able to have a campfire.
The cabin itself is very small, which we expected, but it does show some wear with noticeable scratches and dings. We also found the blinds to be quite sheer, which made us feel like we didn’t have much privacy.
The biggest downside for us was the lack of cell service. We understand that the goal is to disconnect, but……

“Hosts are good communicators, the policies are fair and clear. I loved the A-frame, the cozy feel, and the environment with trails and peaks nearby. Cool fridge that you can sign when you stay there.The staircase to the upper level is narrow and steep, could be difficult for larger bodies. And the master bedroom door does not open all the way, blocked by the bed. I did really enjoy wiping my poop on the current president’s ridiculous proclamations. A great place for singles and couples.”

“There are no words to express how exceptional this trip was & Shannon, the host, put the cherry on top.
Her consistent communication and beautiful cabin in the woods was everything my boyfriend and I were looking for and more!
Packwood was a delightful small town with delicious food, amazing views, kind people, and a convenient distance from the national park.
