Older quaint motel, but well maintained. Shower went from hot to cold randomly. Appreciated the extra tall mini fridge. Be sure to eat at JB's right next door and bring cash. Will stay again next year.

I’ve been in Sparta many times but never stayed overnight. The Inn is a little vintage but with some updates and clean! Great value especially if you’re doing Parkway activities. I would not think twice about booking there again. Sparta has some excellent comfort food venues and the Bluffs restaurant on the Parkway is worth it with food and ambience. We’ve been going to the Bluffs for 40 years (except when they were renovating and COVID). Please go treat yourself to both! We actually stayed at the Bluffs Lodge twice before it closed. Slow down and go enjoy Sparta and the Bluffs restaurant.

There’s no other option to stay overnight in Sparta except the Allegheny Inn. It’s nothing special and the bathrooms are really small so if you’re heavyset, you might wanna ask for a a room with a larger bathroom the sheets were clean, but there was a stain and there was some hair in the drain of the bathtub that was not mine.! there was coffee in the lobby but only powdered creamer. It’s not pet friendly so no no pets allowed. The good news is there’s a nice little restaurant that’s right in the parking lot if you will so you can go get some real coffee and a nice breakfast.
