Areas that need improvement: The beds, mattresses, and pillows are just OK; they were comfortable enough but nothing in the house is luxurious. There is little to no bureau storage. Two bathrooms aren't too bad, but the ensuite bathrooms are cramped, and there is very little counter space to put your toiletries. There are no screens on the windows, so there is no fresh air.We're a family of 8\. The house sleeps 14, the dining table seats 6, and the living room only seats 5 people. We could walk all over town from the location and it was extremely safe. The home is STUNNING and perfectly stocked for a large group. The history of the home was so cool, but it was also updated enough to be extremely comfortable. We had to reschedule due to a hurricane and the hosts were extremely helpful. The property managers were very responsive to both text and email. This place is large enough for huge family gatherings. The kitchen is a very nice size and is great for cooking. We brought a stock pan for a seafood boil and we wondered why the stove wasn’t working. There were no hangers when we got there but the property manager rectified that ASAP. Plenty of parking and outdoor living space. From its location downtown St Augustine is walkable. Not cheap but when you compare hotel room pricing in the area, cheaper than getting multiple of those each night to cover all the families/friends.
