Dear VRBO Support Team,I am writing to report several issues with our host related to payment processing and the property’s condition. The host’s credit card system was not functioning and directed us to call (435) 313-5143; no one answered, and I received a text instructing me to “text instead.” She also confused our reservation with another guest’s and sent incorrect information. Our final payment, due October 7, was not processed, and after multiple follow-ups, we finally received a Square link on November 1 that was 51.07 higher than the remaining balance shown on VRBO. She later acknowledged the error, apologized, and I completed the payment.When we arrived at the property, some of the bedding appeared dirty. It was unclear whether it was stained or simply not washed, but we did not feel comfortable using it. If the bedding is stained, it should be replaced or, at minimum, a new duvet cover should be provided. The blanket we pulled from the closet also appeared stained and should be replaced. There was a noticeable layer of dust on the bed headboards and light fixtures, indicating these areas are not cleaned regularly. The shower curtain had visible stains that appeared to be bodily fluids, almost as if someone had a nosebleed, and the carpet in that room was dirty. While the shower curtain could likely be washed, it clearly needed to be cleaned before guests arrived. While the home itself was very nice, it could have been better maintained for the amount of money.
