"This was my first time staying at Best Western of Wise, VA. The staff members I met were very nice. My room was comfortable, clean, well lit with a large window wall and easily adjustable blinds. Air conditioning kept the room at a pleasant temperature. The breakfast area offered a variety of hot foods (scrambled eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits, pancake making machine), and cold foods (cereal, yogurt, bread and bagels). My only complaint was that the pool was out of service (under reconstruction until January 2026). Also on Sunday, I had left a note for housekeeping for restock of coffee, hot cups, toilet paper. It was obvious that my room had no services that day. "

"There wasn't anything about this property that we did not like. Cindy, was very helpful when we called ahead and told her we were going to be late arriving. She made the check in process very easy and pleasant. The dining area was always kept clean and the food was hot, tasty, and available. The breakfast was always well stocked. I am a coffee drinker and there was always good hot coffee available! We will certainly stay here again."

"This was a super-cute place to stay for the weekend. It was relaxing, comfortable, decorated so beautifully, and it had everything we needed. The only thing we had to grab was some half and half for coffee. She left the most delicious cake for us. My family is still raving about it. We would love to come back and stay with Regina again. She was a wonderful hostess and we enjoyed visiting with her. Please note, if you have older adults or small children the stairs that lead to two of the bedrooms are quite steep, but they are worth the climb. They are super-cute and unique. "

"Well kept rental property, clean and well taken care of. Having several properties on a mountain sides this guy does a great job with upkeep and maintenance. The hike to the falls is great just stay close to the river and you will find the trail. Close to downtown yet far enough away for peace and to leave work and life behind. "
