No damage from hurricane helene. This stilt home has amazing views from the front balcony of the Gulf. While off the back deck you enjoy viewing the mangrove trees and intracoastal waterway. Walk through your own nature reserve to the private dock on the intracoastal.

Our home is pet friendly, but please note there is an additional fee for cleaning up the additional pet hair.

The home has granite counter tops in the kitchen and stainless steel Samsung appliances.

The home has 2 large bedrooms. Master bathroom with queen size bed and a master bathroom with shower. Guest bedroom with 2 full size beds. Main bathroom has a tub/shower. Outdoor shower to rinse off when you get back from the beach.

Large open floor plan living room, dining room and kitchen with cathedral ceilings.

Elevator to easily get up to the living space. Off-street parking for 2 vehicles.

The beach is 200 steps away and you can watch your friends surf from the front deck of the home.

Take a walk through nature as you stroll to the fishing dock on the intracoastal, or launch your own kayak and explore the intracoastal, dolphin watch and bird watch.

We are a short walk to the Green Iguana where you can rent bikes and kayaks.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash

Please ensure you are putting out trash cans and recycling cans the prior night to the pickup day.
Cleaning fee is for 4 hrs of cleaning. If home is left is such a disarray additional cleaning is required than an additional cleaning fee will be requested.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Great Place to stay

The stilt house is in the perfect location with spectacular views of the gulf and waterway. It is well equipped to made our stay comfortable and relaxing. It was very clean and the elevator was a bonus. It is close to several restaurants. We are very pleased with stay here and would recommend it to others.

Could not ask for more and the price was very competitive, the weather was very cold but that couldn’t be helped, great place to stay, the elevator was a bit tricky

Great place to recharge & heal

We had this spot booked for a whole year in advance because we know the area well and it was perfectly located & dog friendly. Karen was an amazing host, the home had everything we needed and was located near to some of our favorite restaurants on the strip. Loved our stay - already planning our return.

Loved our stay!!

This property was perfect for our family! Location was great, easy walk to the beach. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed using the bikes and other beach toys. Karen was very helpful and easy to communicate with. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to return to this house ourselves!

Amazing Location

The stilt house is a wonderful place to stay. The owner provided everything we needed to have a wonderful beach vacation.... even a wagon to transport it all to the beach. It's in a perfect location with great views. It's far enough away from the city to be peaceful but close enough to grocery stores, shopping, great restaurants, and fun activities. Karen was very patient with us as first time VRBO users and made everything easy. I would definitely recommend this rental. You won't be disappointed!!!

Perfect place!

Amazing house with a dock for fishing and the beach is right across the street! We had a great time beautiful home by the water. Only thing I would say is keep your belongings locked inside we rented a paddle board from the shop down the street and left the paddle in the beach gear shed and someone stole it so make sure you lock up your belongings. Other than that was a great trip would highly recommend!

Wonderful vacation property

The property is everything as advertised and more. Easy access to two pieces of paradise - the long stretch of sandy beach out the front, as well as a private dock on the inter-coastal waterway out the back. Everything is provided for a relaxing vacation. We really appreciated the top notch kitchen supplies, from quality cookware, dishes and cutlery, to the slow cooker. The home is very clean, and well laid for two couples, with a clear separation in sleeping areas. We also appreciated the quality furniture and TVs, and the internet worked flawlessly. The elevator is awesome for moving luggage, as well as for those guests with mobility challenges. The host provides prompt and courteous communication.

Beautiful Views, Private Dock and Stunning Beaches

5 Star views of both the beach and intercostal! The house was clean and updated. Gorgeous beach access just a few steps away. The owner is very nice and communicative. Would have given it 5 stars except: the noise - the highway in front of the house is quite busy and there was some disruptive late-night/early-morning noise from the second property at the unit. Also, the wifi drops often and is problematic if you are trying to do work or anything that requires significant bandwidth. But, overall, we had a wonderful stay and the home is definitely good for beach access and awesome views -not to mention the super cool private dock in the mangrove lagoon. You can watch the sunset and rise from the living room! Beautiful rental!

Great Experience!

The stay was wonderful! The home was just amazing. We hope to stay gere in the future. The host was great and shared some great food options which we tried. Just a great overall experience. The.views from the home is worth it and it really is a short walk to the beach.

Stilt house

Winter vacation 2025 & visit with grandkids

The stilt house is an amazing property to rent for a vacation. It is clean and has everything you can possibly need for a visit. The view of the gulf is beautiful & just across the street so if you want to catch an amazing sunset. The private mangrove behind the house overlooks the bay and was our favorite place for mornings. Karen is always available if you need anything . We’ll definitely be back to stay there.

Perfect location with beautiful views of the sunrises over the intercoastal and sunsets over the Gulf and all of the amenities needed for fun in the sun! The stilt house is located in a perfect spot. Beach access was less than half a block and across the street….perfect! The house was clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed and more The house is very dog friendly. Highly recommend.

Great Sister Trip at the Stilt House

We are 4 sisters from PA, GA, and FL that stayed at the Stilt House for 8 days. The house was amazing, the Sunset and Sunrise views from the house were spectacular! The short walk to the beach was great! We enjoyed several local restaurants, the Sugarsand Festival in Clearwater, the Seaside Bird Sanctuary, and John's Pass Boardwalk. Loved the convenience of the elevator and the private dock was great! We will definitely be back!!!!

Amazing house!

This was the best place we have stayed in Indian Shores! Karen was so great and accommodating. The views front and back were incredible. House was clean and just as seen in pics. Loved the beach chairs and toys available. Everything we needed was there for us. We will be coming back to this amazing property. So sad to leave!!
