“We stayed over a long weekend. Absolutely loved the location and the cottage. It was wonderful to bring our dog with us on a vacation for the first time - he loved it, too! We heard owls and coyotes; saw blue herons, bunnies, and small birds; and enjoyed sitting on the patio in the shadow of the hemlock, cedar, maple, madrone, and Douglas-fir trees. (The view from the bathroom at sunset is incredible, too!) The cottage was thoughtfully appointed for guests and we appreciated the extra touches……

“The cottage was quite charming. It was the perfect distance between Oak Harbor and Coupeville for our needs. We would definitely stay again. It provided just enough space for the two of us and we enjoyed the solitude it provided when we returned from town. Our hosts were great. They were readily available when I had a few questions. ”

“This is the vacation home you wish you had. Great location, extremely well appointed, cute, comfortable, quiet, I could go on. We had a lovely stay- from when you walk in the door you're on vacation. Beach-theme decor is coordinated throughout the house. Comfortable furniture and mattresses, plenty of linens, and a cozy gas fireplace for movie nights. The kitchen has everything you need, including 4 different coffee options (pour-over, french press, keurig, and traditional coffee pot) plenty of……

“This place was incredible! From the deck you could see Swan Lake, the Olympics, the Salish Sea, Canada, and the San Juan Islands. There were tons of Eagles and Herons all over the place. It was so peaceful and relaxing. I recommend it for ANYONE!”

I’ve never stayed in such a well-appointed place. The house is modern, clean, and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. They thought of everything. The owner was responsive to one small issue about the Wi-Fi, too. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Green Door house.”

“We were so happy with our choice. The home was more beautiful and comfortable than we had hoped. The lake was beautiful, complete with a hot tub, finish sauna and a fire pit. A beautiful setting. We were able to have our dog with us. We all felt like we were at home. The house was exceptionally clean and extremely well stocked!!! The kitchen was amazing and we enjoyed cooking together. The owners responded to our questions immediately, we were well taken care of. Would stay here again!”
