"Mostly peaceful (occasional train going by) wonderful cabin in the piney woods. Tons of birds, lots of open space to enjoy. House was very comfortable, bed was excellent and couch let you sit back and relax. Dog friendly property and nicely decorated. Kitchen had everything we needed and included a regular coffee pot plus keurig coffee maker and coffee. Extra guest toiletries provided in the bathroom were a nice addition. Nice fire pit and bbq pit were ready for use. Bring your folding chairs and sit outside to see the stars. Due to Texas drought, the water shown in the photos was not there, sadly. Parking was right at the porch and very accommodating."

"The house was awesome! Loved the space and the coffee bar was OUTSTANDING! Access to Downtown was perfect as we were in town for the Painted Churches tour, and my mom with her twin's 93rd birthday. My husband had a fall, so the jetted tub was a lifesaver for his sore muscles--an added plus! House was immaculate when we arrived---TV access was easy and we loved the safety of the front door lock. Neighborhood was quiet and friendly as well. We would definitely return and recommend this to others coming for any Schulenberg events! "
