“Breakfast was sad. No hot items like picture showed, coffee pot was sad. Amenities included pool but when asked they said it was under maintenance but no sign on pool saying so. There was holes in the rooms wall that had been poorly patched. They spent a lot of money on decor but the place was still ratty. They need to upgrade not spend money on tacky decor. Fix your walls and floors and get better equipment for breakfast.”

“The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Rooms are very dated. The fireplace in the room didn’t work and the phone in the room didn’t work when I tried to call the desk for assistance. The front desk staff wasn’t very helpful. View of the lake was the best thing about the property. ”

Also should disclose the narrow stair case to the 2 out of 3 bedrooms in case someone with a handicap wants to rent. Please also put a disclaimer in your book or somewhere that the furnace may smell like gas upon initial heat up as I was scared for my family all night after the CO2 detector went off (we determined the batteries were bad in the detector). “The log home was a wonderful place to gather for Christmas with our family who came from MN, ND and AZ. Sue is an amazing host - so responsive and easy to work with. The kitchen was fully stocked and living rooms were set up great for our 3 granddaughters to play Barbies and show off dance moves. We had one campfire and the scenery was so beautiful. We will book again!! ”
