"Cabin was fine. Beds were good, kitchen was clean. Rooms were clean also. The hosts provided excellent extras that made a big difference. Toilets worked just fine. Since we were both in our 70s we found it tough to sit as they were quite low and seemed small. Grill was ok. Could use a burner cover on one of the burners but that did not affect our use.Overall it was a very good cabin. A fishing cabin!Picnic table outside was rotted and one section gave way when my partner rested his elbows on it....

"Very nice clean room with comfortable bed and nice shower. Kitchenette was good with microwave and mini fridge, basic dishes. The owner was very easy to communicate with. Good location with Mary Jane’s restaurant bar next door had excellent food and nice atmosphere. My only small suggestion would be to put variable light switches so you could turn down the lighting at night. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again on my next trip to Perryville."

8/10 Good

"It's an "old school" motel. The staff were most accommodating and kind. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. They do not have a breakfast so if you're only looking for a place to sleep, it is worth the stay. It was easy to find and had several fast food places in close proximity. I grabbed a donut and coffee at the Casey's around the corner. If I visit again next year, I will stay here again."

"The first room we were given had not been cleaned; dirty towels on the floor, unmade bed. The 2nd room we were given had dirty sheets. The front desk gave us new sheets which when we went to put them on the bed were stained and when removing the dirty sheets, the mattress topper had blood on it. We left and moved to another hotel."

"We made sure to get a "suite" with a king bed and a pull out couch to sleep our family of 4. We realized there was no bedding for the pull out couch in the room so we went down to the front desk. They gave us a sheet, blanket and 1 pillow. I asked for another pillow since there were 2 children sleeping on the bed. We were denied another pillow because they come in sets and are only allowed 1 set per room. My husband also got a noise complaint called into our room for the 2 kids and I walking down the hallway to the pool. The breakfast was extremely limited with fruit, omelet, pancakes (rubbery), and bread. We were there for a soccer tournament and got the impression they didn't like having children there. There were also only 2 towels in the bathroom even though I booked the room for 4 people for 2 nights. Overall it seems like the hotel makes it harder than it should be to get basic linens and bedding. We had to make multiple trips to the front desk requesting basics."
