“Cannot say enough good things about this property. A bit of a hiccup upon arrival, but hat as taken care right away. We were expecting an “average” cabin, but this went beyond average. Can’t wait to get back to the peacefulness. ”

“Cabin was fine. Beds were good, kitchen was clean. Rooms were clean also. The hosts provided excellent extras that made a big difference. Toilets worked just fine. Since we were both in our 70s we found it tough to sit as they were quite low and seemed small. Grill was ok. Could use a burner cover on one of the burners but that did not affect our use.Overall it was a very good cabin. A fishing cabin!Picnic table outside was rotted and one section gave way when my partner rested his elbows on it....

“We loved everything about this cabin! If you are looking for a spacious, beautiful cabin to spend time in with family, this is your place. The woodwork throughout the cabin is stunning. High ceilings, open spaces, plenty of space to cook meals, play games, and gather together. The Christmas tree this time of year was an extra special touch. Everything was clean, the bathroom toiletries were hotel-like, which I loved. The beds were extremely comfortable. We would stay here again! ”

“The cabin had everything we needed! It was cozy and clean. I loved all the Illinois-themed decor and little touches. We did not have our kids with us but we would love to come back in the summer and bring our kiddos! The loft area was cute and I know they would love the hot tub and fire pit area.”

“We really enjoyed our stay overall. The location was excellent—quiet, peaceful, and set far enough away from town to avoid traffic, but still close enough to get anywhere quickly. The outdoor space was a big plus, especially for our dogs, who had plenty of room to roam. The beds were also very comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. “We had a really nice getaway at this cabin. The hot tub was great, the shower was awesome, and the bed was super comfortable—everything inside was clean and well taken care of. It’s located right on a beautiful lake, which made for a peaceful stay.Just a heads-up for anyone looking for total seclusion: there are a few other cabins nearby, so it’s not completely private. Still, it was quiet, relaxing, and very enjoyable overall. I’d definitely come back!”
