"This is a lovely cottage in a beautiful and peaceful forest setting. The cottage matched its descriptions and was very clean. The kitchen is well appointed and the dining area is full of light and looks out upon trees in three directions. It was a pleasure to eat there. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets. The host's communication with us was thorough, clear, and warm. The cottage is good value for the money. I would stay there again."

"My wife and I rented this cabin for the Father’s Day weekend. We were joined by our two sons, our daughter in law, 2 of our grandchildren, and two small dogs. The cabin was very clean and very cozy. We had breakfast and dinner on the back patio table every day. The cabin is perfectly situated, close to Pinecrest, and close to the store off the highway. The cabin is nestled in a quiet neighborhood just off the highway. It was a perfect weekend in a perfect cabin. Meg (the owner), and her assistant were very friendly and attentive. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a great place to stay in a calm and peaceful environment!"

"We came across this cabin by accident when trying to rent the cabin we stay at in the same subdivision. The other cabin was booked, and we found this one was open for the days We wanted. The cabin looked great in the photos on VRBO and did not disappoint. Lots of room upstairs and three nice sized bedrooms and two bathrooms downstairs. The cabin was immaculate When we showed up. Beautiful views for the top floor balcony. Quiet dead-end street. Weather was perfect. Great weekend. Had a little trouble getting my phone to connect to the WIFI to get the code for the door. Parking for large vehicles is a little snug. Definitely looking forward to coming up here with the grandkids and hopefully staying here again."

"We really enjoyed this cabin - we came up to the Pinecrest area for a family reunion and this cabin suited our purposes perfectly. The cabin is well maintained, clean and the host was responsive to any questions we had. The kitchen was well supplied and was perfect for our needs. The hot tub was nice to enjoy after a day at the lake or out exploring. We will be back!"

"My family and I absolutely enjoyed our stay! From the very start, Tri was quick to respond and answer any questions we had. We stayed for 3 nights and 2 days, and it really felt like a home away from home. All the basic essentials were provided, (towels, kitchen utensils/dishes, soap). Upon arrival, I really appreciated the creative info booklet that Tri made... It had information about the house and the surrounding area, (it was super helpful)! We took a drive to Pinecrest Lake, it was about a 10 minute drive, the stopped at Mia's for lunch on the way back... the food was amazing! My children also had plenty to do at the house. There were books, games, and legos... which kept them busy during some down time. Overall, it was a great stay and we would love to return again some day!"

"We took advantage of the "Book 2 nights get the 3rd night free" in March, which was a great value. Without getting the 3rd night free, it might feel a bit too expensive.This was our second time staying at this cabin, and we had a great experience both times. Two years ago, it was MLK weekend and there was so much snow, we could sled down the hill in between the neighbors' houses! This time (in March), there was barely any snow and it was a balmy 70 degrees and sunny every day. There was just barely enough snow to ski in t-shirt weather at Dodge Ridge.The cabin is spacious and fun for two families to share. The bottom two bedrooms get really cold at night, so be prepared to either feel like you're camping outside, or use one of the space heaters. The upstairs loft sleeps 6 and is quite cozy. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of mismatched dishes, utensils, and pots — it's just a little haphazard and can take a minute to find everything.Darlene was helpful and easy to communicate with. The checkout process was especially simple. We returned a second time and would definitely return in the future, too. Thank you for hosting us!"

"This place was easy to get to, easy to find and pretty roomy for a cabin in the forest. Our visit was during the big snow storm during Presidents Week in Feb 2026 and we got snowed in, which was fun. There is a two car parking spot, then stairs going down to the front door. The cabin is on a hill so it has two decks and a nice firepit outside (which we couldn't use because snow). The host was easy to get a hold of and very responsive, which we appreciated. We'll go back during the summer and I'm sure the place will have a whole different vibe!"
