“Le propriétaire devait venir nous chercher à l'aéroport mais nous a fait faux bond Nous avons du nous débrouiller en bus et lorsque nous sommes arrivés à Ribeira Brava nous étions à 41mn à pied de l'appartement nous avons du prendre un taxi Arrivés à l'aéroport à 10h30 c'est seulement à 19h que nous avons atteint l'appartement. De plus l'appartement est très désuet, le lit grince, aucune insonorisation , des chiens aboient tous les matins. Madère est une île où le moindre déplacement à pied vous……

“Near airport , few shop and restaurant. lobby have free wifi and if you reg the member,you can get the free a bottle of madeira wine,a bottle of water and fruit.No air-con and fan in room ,but we feel cold as the wind.Beautiful view .You can take bus to Funchal,around 15min and cost around 2Euro/way”

“Das Hotel ist an der Küste gelegen, so dass wir sowohl im Pool, als auch im Atlantik schwimmen konnten. Wir konnten alle Mahlzeiten im Freien genießen, das Personal war sehr aufmerksam, abends gab es unterschiedliche Musikvorführungen, was sehr schön war”

“Great hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. The place was very clean. It was great having access to all of the facilities of the park hotel next door. Location was perfect, closer to the “old town” Funchal than most of the hotels, about a 20 min walk to the center, but great area near a lot. Overall I felt very safe, only thing to note is that there is no one at the front desk between midnight and 7am, but you will need your key card to get into the building……

“Grei beliggenhet. Kort vei til sentrum. Mange hyggelige spisemuligheter i nærheten. Litt trafikkstøy. Negativt: som ubetjent hotell bør utgangsdøren automatisk låses (var stort sett ulåst). Terrassedør og baderomsdør ikke mulig å låse/lukke. Gulvlaminat gikk fra hverandre.”

“When I search on Vrbo for properties I found this particular property amazing. When we got there my mild was blown away, I thought I was in a nightmare. We did not stay there as what we bought was not even near what the host presented to us. The jacuzzi was filthy, we were told that the bar and restaurant were not open up until thursday, on facebook there is a monday to friday buffet, same photos always. The entrance to the property was through a bedroom which only had a blind which only half……

“Hôtel très bien situé à proximité immédiate des centres d’intérêts, bars, restaurants, à quelques pas des arrêts de bus pour l’aéroport et autres destinations. Calme, propre. Seul bémol, l’ascenseur est très capricieux et fonctionne relativement peu souvent.”

“房間沒有冷氣風扇，與hotel.com所描述不同，故房間較熱。另外，洗澡水外淺，令地板全濕。床墊開始舊，有下榻情況。景觀開揚，有小型厨房，空間較大，洗澡水夠熱，毛巾隔天更換但天天執房。酒店附近多食店亦有超市，巴士站，泳灘等。酒店有免費接駁車往市中心，但我沒有使用過。早餐有面包，生果，可可米，乳酪及芝士火腿蛋等，不是好味，亦不難吃。”

“Comfortable, but a shortage of bed linen and then the hot water was very sporadic and just sometimes just a trickle! Also no cushions for sun beds!These things didn’t cause us too much trouble, but thought I’d better mention them Annette”

“Die Fotos entsprechen voll und ganz der Realität. Das Haus war einfach perfekt, der beheizte Pool, die Grillterasse, der Ausblick genial, wir haben die Woche wirklich genossen. Und von den netten Vermietern hat es ein Willkommenskorb mit Wein, Obst etc. gegeben.”

“What an awesome stay! The place is nestled in the mountains a few km above Sao Vicente. You’ll need wheels! It is a typical village surrounded by locals - not a tourist in site. The perfect getaway! The property itself was great. Obviously lived in, so you’re in somebody’s actual house rather than a faceless rental. Everything you need is there to cook, clean and sleep soundly. Communication with the owner was brilliant via WhatsApp, and entry was easy via a key safe. Drive has space for a……

“Amazing experience ”

“The room was clean, well appointed and very quiet. We were across from the elevator bank and didn’t hear them at all. The location is very good and so was the breakfast. I don’t think I’ve ever had better water pressure in the shower. Our only problem was our room seemed to be in a wifi dead zone. We had good service in the middle of the room but not at either end, including the balcony. The staff did try to rectify it but not much improvement. Would definitely stay again. ”
