"i stayed in this cabin to enjoy hiking in the gorge. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities needed for the term of my stay. Checking in and out was very convenient. Communication with the host was very accommodating. It was a bit of a drive each day to and from my hiking destinations but i would not necessarily allow that to hinder my decision to return to this cabin in the future."

"I had a wonderful experience staying here. The room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. The air conditioning worked perfectly, making the stay relaxing even during warm weather. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. Another great advantage was the convenient location, with plenty of shops and amenities nearby, making it easy to find everything I needed. Overall, the hotel provided excellent service, comfort, and value for money. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers. 😊"

"The host checked in with us to make sure that we arrived. There was a nice little welcome package with local items. Everything about the house was fantastic. The porch was a great place to hang out as our nephew hung out in the hot tub. I highly recommend staying at this property."

"If you haven't been to Macos Mountain, you don't know what your missing! We have stayed at 2 of his cabins now, and can't wait to visit again. The pictures do not do the property justice. I honestly can't explain how beautiful the cabin and view are. Communication with the owner is top notch. Be sure to consider buying a tshirt. When he delivers them, he can tell you about the property and surroundings. We enjoyed talking to him. Nothing like sitting in the hot tub or out by the fire pit and breathing in fresh air and looking at the mountains. We had daily visits from wild turkeys, deer and white tail rabbits. Our 5 year old granddaughter loved it! She was upset that we had to leave. She also became a champ at Ping Pong - she insists we buy a table...lol. If I could have stayed there the whole summer I would have! We got our exercise just by walking up and down the lane in the gated area. It'll give you a nice workout. There's a treadmill there, but nothing beats fresh air! I promise you will be pleasantly surprised with this property!"

"Glad to see the hotel was being updated. We stayed on the first floor and it smelled a little musty, don’t know if the pool being close by attributed to the odor or not. This was our second stay but will definitely return when visiting family. Thanks for being pet friendly and very accommodating."

"Our week-long stay at the cabin was an absolute delight. The breathtaking views from the deck were simply incredible, especially during the sunrises and sunsets. One memorable day, we experienced a storm, and the rhythmic sound of rain hitting the roof, coupled with the moody and cloudy view, created an unforgettable experience as we played board games. We traveled with another family of four adults and five kids (ages 4 to 7), and there was ample space for everyone to feel comfortable. The walkout basement was the perfect kid zone, featuring two bedrooms and a spacious couch with a TV. A heads up for parents with clumsy kids: we didn’t have any issues, but we did go over how to get up and down safely. There’s a spiral staircase from the main level to the basement, and a ladder that you pull off the wall to access the loft with twin beds. The loft was also a great spot for the kids to hang out, as we had plenty of room for them to spread out. There are also stairs leading to the basement from the deck. However, when it was dark or early morning, we wanted to ensure that the kids were comfortable with the options available inside to navigate around. The hosts were incredibly communicative, and the cabin was in pristine condition when we arrived.We had an amazing week!"

"The location was perfect, everything was as described. The house was very clean and I was very impressed by the details provided for where things were, like labels in the kitchen, labels on light switches, etc. Internet was great, it was fast and reliable. All the TVs were smart TVs which was great. Matt, the host, communicated well and immediately addressed an issue with the air conditioning not working when we arrived and made sure it was taken care of. I was very impressed by how quickly and appropriately he handled the situation. I would highly recommend staying here, especially if you have a large group going on the DBBB like my group was, or other activities in the Red River Gorge area. Each bedroom had multiple beds and it's own bathroom which was fantastic with multiple couples on our trip. While we did not have an opportunity to use the hot tub during our stay, we did look at it and it was clean and seemed in good operation."
