### Surf, Relax and Explore the best of Avellanas

Welcome to Casa de Mango, a modern new construction Villa at The Point, Playa Avellanas. Nestled under a mature mango tree and surrounded by exotic palms and tropical plants, Casa de Mango is the perfect getaway for families, surfers and nature lovers. The Point includes 24/7 security, pool, rancho/bbq and is walking distance to restaurants and near one of the best surf beaches in Costa Rica. Come experience Casa de Mango and the amazing Playa Avellanas.  
  
The Point is a new (2021) gated resort community in Avellanas and this is one of 10 homes in the community. The home features a modern architecture with an open layout. The floor to ceiling windows and high ceilings provide an exceptionally bright and airy feel. Exotic tropical gardens and palms run throughout the community and the pool is just steps away from the door. Howler Monkeys can be heard in the background most evenings and Scarlet Macaws visit frequently. The guest room features a dedicated workspace for those that bring work along.  
  
You will have access to the entire house as well as the common areas (pool, bbq)  
  
Steve can be reached through the airbnb app or by cell phone during the hours of 8:00AM to 8:00PM (CR time). For after hours onsite emergencies, please contact the front gate security staff - available 24/7\. For all medical emergencies, call 911.  
  
Located in a prime location of Costa Rica’s Pacific/Gold Coast, Playa Avellanas boasts world-class waves and relaxing shores that make for a surfer’s or beach goer’s heaven. As a tranquil alternative to nearby Tamarindo, Playa Avellanas provides the feeling of a true “Paradise on Earth”, offering peace and nature, but also benefiting from being very close to all the services and amenities of a lively beach town.  
  
\- 1 hour and 20 minutes away from Liberia International Airport in Liberia, Guanacaste   
  
\- 20 minutes away from Tamarindo and Langosta where you can find supermarkets, restaurants, bars, shops and pharmacies.   
  
\- Walking distance to excellent restaurants  
  
The best option for getting around in Avellanas is by car. Four-wheel drive is highly recommended in the rainy season. To access the beach, drive down to Lola’s and park in the dedicated parking area.  
  
Please be aware that in Costa Rica, you cannot flush toilet paper.  
Every toilet has a little trash can next to it. Please use the trash can for toilet paper to avoid unnecessary mess and hassle during your stay.  
Please no flushing toilet paper (or sanitary products) down the toilet. Plumbing in Costa Rica is not designed to handle toilet paper.

#### Excellent surfing/diving home base

Great place. Modern. Clean. All the right amenities. Quick access to restaurants and beach. Perfect for a family of four. The Point is safe, new, and well kept. Excellent gardens and seating to watch the scarlet macaws and plan the adventure of the day. Steve is a great host. Communicative, but without extraneous messages. Responsive when queried. One of our favorite rentals ever….and we use a lot!
