"It was very good. But bed was not great quality and we were woken at 3am with all the lights turning on (we were told due to power cut but very odd and scary!) - so sleep was disrupted"

I look forward to returning in a couple of weeks. The hotel was very good value. Cheapest with own bathroom in Grantham though no one would ever know !1"

"We have stayed here twice now - and was more then pleased with everything on the first visit, on the second we had a room facing the car park and not the marina as last time, so that was a little bit disappointing. Also a gas pipe on the wall outside kept making noise thruout the night. "

"Lovely place to stay for a couple of nights. Pool/gym facilities were excellent and restaurant/bar was great!! Lovely staff. Our room was so far away from reception area….I went for a jog and started at the room and covered almost 500m before I reached the lobby! A guest laundry would have been most helpful."

"One night stay , room on arrival was very hot. Mentioned on way out and reception staff obliged by providing aircon and fan. Upon return later room very cool. Very central location with friendly staff, breakfast great with plenty of choice "

"Fantastic little stay at this place. You can really see that they have put some thought into how they do things to make yiur stay enjoyable. The bed was comfortable with fresh and clean bedsheets, the bathroom was clean with clean towels. The continental breakfast thatnis left in the room is a great odea. Simply pick up what you want, take it down to the dining area/kitchen area and prepare. I really enjoy it and will be back. "It was a shame that I didn’t arrive until the early hours of the morning. I didn’t get to sample the facilities that were available as I had to leave in the morning. The staff were lovely and the standard of the hotel is excellent. The price I paid for the room and breakfast was also very reasonable"

"An amazing hidden gem! A lovely setting, the pub was great with a huge beer garden and play area and the hotel was lovely and clean and VERY quiet - we didnt hear other people inside or out on any of the 3 nights we stayed. Beer garden was right outside our window and very busy with families and kids playing football but could not hear a peep in the room. Room also had air con but wasnt very good, and we used our Shark fan we had brought from home knowing it was a hot weather week. We ate in the pub for dinner on arrival and enjoyed their Curry night offer. Would definitely stay here again if in the area."

"The moment you enter the hotel you are engulfed in a bubble of lovely scented fragrances all the way to your room. The reception team was awesome, friendly, gentle, respectful. I stayed in the executive room. My wife loved the bed, took a while to get her to wake up, lol. The wash room was clean and the soaps and body lotion was on point! Blinding curtains, a mini fridge, complimentary water, breakfast coffee, Lovely semi sofa chairs (great for couple's,lol). Also to add the place is noise free and has a relaxing ambiance. Definitely recommend! "

"My partner and I booked a standard family room for 2 nights. The room was clean and spacious, the view from the window was really good and you could see all of Nottingham. The staff were very friendly and helpful during the stay and offered to keep our bags after check out for an extra £2 which helped for transport times. We tried the food in the lobby (pollo pizza) which was made fresh and tasted good, the price was £15 which might be a lot of a pizza but I think worth it. The local area around the hotel was calm and safe, with lots of business around e.g., tesco, pubs, sainsbury's, cinemas and town centre. The bathroom was a bit small but not an issue for such a small stay. Overall, definitely worth the money as it was cheap but good standards "
