“The property is centrally located, especially for Oistins. It is located off Lodge Road, so it’s on a bus route with buses readily available for going to Bridgetown and surrounding areas. The host was impeccable. Wi-Fi was reliable and consistent.”

“This was my first time in Barbados & my stay at South Gap Hotel was excellent! I booked a week vacation in honor of my birthday . All of the staff members were very nice & friendly, the rooms are very tidy/clean. The restaurant and bar on property is amazing & reasonably priced! Try the Bajan breakfast, very filling & delicious. The location of the hotel is also convenient, only 15 minutes away from the airport & nearby a lot of activities! I would stay at SouthGapHotel again when I return to……

“I cannot say enough great things about this place! The view from my room did not disappoint. Everyone from the front desk, to bartenders, to the guest, security, maintenance and cleaning...Everyone I met was friendly and absolutely a joy to be around. The music was an added bonus. As someone who loves to sing, I enjoyed the variety and how they had different artist every night. Each artist was friendly and down to earth. Even got to join in on a few sets. It was AMAZING! “This is an excellent hotel for its price in Barbados. This is primarily because it is not on the beach. It’s also the best breakfast I’ve had in a hotel there and I’ve stayed at several. I’m vegan and my partner is not and we were both very pleased. The dinner was not so tasty I must say. The staff were polite and attentive. The rooms have lovely balconies but the mattress was really saggy and the ACs are old and too loud. The pool was great, gym was great and the gully walk just beautiful and……

“Glorious beach, incredible water! The views!!! This was our second time at the Fairmont Royal Pavillion and will absolutely not be the last. Housekeeping staff were amazing and our room was immaculately cleaned every day. Restaurant staff were mixed, some were really lovely, some were a little unfriendly, but all in all we felt taken care of. Breakfast was good. The WiFi was significantly worse this time around, really hope it improves in the future (it was better when we came last year, not……

“The room is not clean at all. You can't see the ocean from your room or house which you must be careful when you decide to book. The host is not friendly as they come from New York and all they care is only money.”
