About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Sky Hi at Buckeye Lake

Welcome to Sky Hi at Buckeye Lake. This amazing private retreat comes with all the space you need inside and out. The home sits atop one of the highest hills in Licking County with peak-a-boo views of Buckeye Lake. Two decks offer an expansive look down on 15 acres of country living.
The space
Our space is designed to be accommodating to couples, groups or families. We are happy to work with you to make it meet your specific needs.

There are two separate living rooms, one of which includes a large fully stocked kitchen including place settings and flatware for 16. Refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer all included.

There is one true master bedroom with an attached bath. 2 back bedrooms share a full bath with a bathtub which is accessed from the hallway, and the smallest bedroom has a full bathroom with a shower open to the common area.

The original house was built in the 1950's and retains much of the original character and quirks. Our favorite space is the step down fireplace room complete with copper double sided gas fireplace. There is a foosball table, board games and plenty of room to spread out.
Guest access
The entire property is yours. A very private setting.
Other things to note
A pond that won’t hold water has been dug in the property It’s a good distance from the house so does not affect your stay just isn’t the prettiest to look at
The house sits up on a steep hill and it may be difficult for someone with accessibility issues to walk up the front walk. Ask about the backdoor with easier entry.

A large (50ft) illuminated cross sits on the back of the property. During the day, you would hardly notice it, but at night it illuminates the property.

Quaint, Eclectic, & Picturesque!
We had twelve of us staying at the house and we had plenty of room! The layout of the house and property was a constant topic of discussion in our brief stay of 4 days. Visitors that came by insisted, and we obliged, to a tour of the property inside and out. Plenty of kitchenware allowed us to need only the groceries to purchase. The kitchen/common area was perfect for all to gather and yet big enough for smaller groups to form. Sunsets were unreal and night time relaxing by the fireplaces was awesome. The lush rolling hills were perfect for kids to be kids and play til their hearts desired no more. Next time we come back we will be looking for Sky Hi to host our accommodations!

Phenomenal Trip!
This place was fantastic for my group of friends and I. The kitchen/ main room was spacious and we loved that it was a little farther from the bedrooms so that some people could stay up late while others got to bed a little earlier. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and cooking devices so that we could make food. the bedrooms were all great and we were able to keep cool at night. We had the chance to play frisbee on the property and enjoyed a fire. It was also nice to only be about an hour away from Hocking Hills State Park which we got to visit. The host Abby was easy to communicate with and was very helpful. Overall it was a great visit and we would consider booking again if we are looking this area in the future.

Exceeded expectations
What a fantastic and incredibly well-stocked home! Perfect for large groups. Accommodations were comfortable and clean. WiFi was unavailable for our stay but it was of no concern to our group and we were alerted in advance it was being replaced. The owner Abby was quick to respond and very helpful. Would absolutely book this home again. Only warning: do not use Waze for directions!
