When they put me on the first floor, pointing directly towards the gas station with lots of lights and trucks coming in and out I asked if it was possible for me to be put on the other side of the hotel because I didn’t want to be woken by the noise and lights. Then he proceeded to tell me that I should’ve picked that on Expedia and that there was no way to change it. I said, there is literally 5 cars in the parking lot. I asked to cancel the room, he explained that it was an impossible task and he got upset with me. Ultimately he some how was able to make the change when I asked to leave. Once in There was a very, very thin sheet on the bed and the room smelled as though it had not been opened in a while with no AC running. The beds are not very comfortable, nor are the pillows and we found a roach in our room. The floors were also sticky. The whole vibe was a little off - property felt old and not well kept up. The room had been updated, but the underlying infrastructure hadn’t been updated- old tub which was worn, slippery and dangerous. The mirror coating in the bathroom was worn off around the edges.
