With the exception of the room wifi, which was down during my stay, everything else worked properly. You should not expect fluffy new towels, but the room was clean, comfortable and welcoming. I stayed over the weekend and there were some noisy groups, which were gone by Sunday night which was much quieter. At first it was a bit intimidating but actually it was fine because I felt safe. The staff was nice and i appreciated the fact that they didnt go into my room when i put the "do not disturb " sign up in the morning. I would definitely recommend this location for safety and easy access to many places and hwy. what I didnt like is that when i booked with expedia I asked for a crib and asked representative to make sure they had one if not I would book room with two beds.The agent confirmed but when I got to hotel I was told I was told that they had none or ever offer them. The good thing is we had a king size bed and we all fit so it worked out at the end. Another good thing is they have a great breakfast buffet at a reasonable price. We ended up driving around at 11 pm asking every taco shop still open. Luckily we both speak Spanish! Call the hotel for the correct address first! Not as clean as we are used to in Tijuana and our AC unit didn't work. The staff was very helpful and the parking seemed secure. However, when we asked for towels they were readily delivered and cups were available at the office. had to go out of the room to get cups. It’s only a five minute walk to the plaza, which was close to the boardwalk and some nice, local restaurants. It's about a 10 minute drive from downtown TJ, but easy access. If you're going to see the bullfight and need a place to stay, this is the hotel to go to. Inexpensive and comfort is comparable to something like Motel 6 in the States. The pool was heated, but it was still too cold to go into this trip. Some people were in it, but by summer time, it would be perfect. It's a clean hotel, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
