"We particularly enjoyed the beachfront location, it made our multiple trips to the water so much easier. We made use of the fire pit, the beach, and the kayaks. It was nice not to have to haul our personal kayaks across the state! We did choose to bring our own bikes, and life jackets. "We had a great time kayaking, fishing, catching crabs and eating outside with our family under the picnic table. We didn’t get a chance to use the firepit but we really appreciate that there are firewood available to use. The house is was perfect for my family. I’m glad that even though it’s an older home, the bathrooms and bedrooms were updated. My mom and sisters who came with us really enjoyed the stay too. The host were great and awesome too. Quick on responding too."

"This house has beautiful views and it was only about 45 min to Williamsburg. It is on Hills Bay, which flows into the Chesapeake Bay. The water is very shallow and would be great for younger kids. We brought kayaks and enjoyed our time on the water. It would be fantastic for someone that owns a boat too.
