“It is surprise Double Tree has such a shabby building in Williamsburg. The noice of AC in the room is huge, you basically feel thunderstorm the whole night, I literally was thinking it was heavy raining for the whole night. And about the clean room, you barely feel someone is cleaned anywhere of the room. The check out line in the morning is long and they only have one staff at front desk for all customers, so you have to wait for very long time, horrible place. Breakfast is not covered, they……

“Be aware that the parking for the hotel is very expensive. Once you're there, however, you won't need to move your car until it's time to leave because you can walk to everything in Colonial Williamsburg & the Merchant's Square area. The hotel buildings are kind of spread out (we never did find the pool) but the rooms are nice. I was given a handicapped accessible room, which I did not request or need so I had an issue with the closet (way too small & only 4 hangers) & since the shower curtain……

“Would definitely stay again!!! Cottages and grounds were extremely clean. Front desk was friendly and accommodating. Our initial key did not work. When requesting a working key, we requested a cottage with fewer or no steps. The young man (i do not remember his name...sorry) searched for such accommodations even though I requested an extra night at check in. It was a pleasurable stay. Thank you.”
