Kathy at the front desk was so friendly and accommodating. The kids enjoyed the pool area and I enjoyed reading on the nice deck with comfy furniture. Great value!
Convenient location right on the main road if you are traveling through. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast got the job done. Coffee, bagels, toast, ceral, apples and bananas. Would recommend to others.
Our unit was large and clean. Heat worked well. To get hot water, you had to run the water a VERY LONG TIME. SUCH A WASTE OF WATER!!
Breakfast was awesome and front lobby staff were friendly :)
The beds were very uncomfortable, the pictures that they show don’t match what you get. It said kitchenette, but did not have a kitchenette. Price was high for this place for sure! I went to a different place, was $70 cheaper, and was amazing!! Pool, hot tub, continental breakfast that was also amazing. We could hear the people next to us talking, wasn’t fond of that.
Very cute roadside motel, net renovated rooms, super clean and comfortable beds. A great one night stop at a good price. Only negative is the shower was very small!
The room was clean and comfortable. Easy access to area sites, golf courses, and beaches. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good selection of breakfast items the first day...not so much on the second day. Could not access internet television but staff got it set up so that we were able to view. Pool was decent but super shallow...good for kids.
We loved our stay at the Coastal Inn! It is an older facility but kept up well, and just so quaint! We loved the location, walkable to so much in town. We stayed in the back with a view of the marsh and loved starting our day enjoying that view, seeing tons of wildlife, and listening to the birds and frogs. The staff was very friendly, and helpful, we felt right at home. You can enjoy the Crystal Lake right across the street, the town of Fremont is only 15 minutes away with great shopping and beaches, and only an easy 30 minute drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes. We would definitely stay again if we return to that area! Thank you Coastal Inn!
Cute place. Basic breakfast options of cold breakfast items like bagels, scones, etc. Pool is 4ft deep and has lots of pool toys and floaties to play with. Keurigs in each room. Would go again.
The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. The room could use better blinds to block at the light. when you check into the hotel it’s done via text. You do not talk to anyone and there’s a keypad on the door that I was not confident in the security because it seemed like a number that was reused.
Gorgeous property, room had character, clean and well appointed, though could have used more outlets.
The vibe was beach cottage and they had done a good job with decor supporting that.
Doors were simple key code entry, but could have used an internal deadlock, chain or bar for extra security.
Loved it though, will definitely be back.
