Instructions and communication from owner was spot on. We got the train so cannot comment on parking, but the flat is on a pedestrianised shopping street so there is no vehicular drop off immediately outside. We used the ‘Ride-on’cycle shop, a five minute walk from the bus and train station, to drop off our bags prior to check in and check out……

“The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. “We had a really lovely stay at the Cart Lodge in early October. The hosts kindly left us some local bread, eggs, jam and biscuits which was a lovely welcome. Everything was very clean and well looked after. The beds very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and warm. Firewood had been provided, however we didn't need to use it. TV had lots of options. It would be nice to have an earlier check in time than 4pm, but everything with the property and hosts was fantastic. ”

“Loved staying at this Shepherd's Hut! We wouldn't normally book a 'hut' but were captivated by the photos and liked the extra space with a separate sleeping section. Stayed 5 nights. This is a special place with it's private, secluded garden and attention to detail. Beautifully laid out, very clean, comfortable, and everything you need - plus a welcome pack! “What a wonderful gem! The accommodation is as lovely as the pictures show. Very clean and spacious and has everything you need including some outdoor space. We were pleasantly surprised by this place and it’s one of our favourite properties to date. The location is absolutely superb.
