“Our stay at The Loans Inn was a mixture of positives and negatives. We booked a deluxe pet-friendly room, but it felt tired and dated. The carpet looked filthy, with numerous heavy stains, the radiator was covered in rust, and there was rust on some of the bathroom fixtures and fittings. The bed linen also had a few stains, which was disappointing. Although the hotel advertises itself as pet friendly, the £30 supplement for a two-night stay, does not permit dogs on the furniture or beds,……

“I moved to this hotel because they told me they had a working fan and a view of the sea with adequate sea breeze to cool off the room. The room was extremely warm and the fan did not work very well and I had to stay there for two nights with an extremely warm room also the the hotel is a bit rundown and the carpet in the room had stains.”

“Linda was very welcoming when we arrived and explained everything clearly. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty. We only stayed 1 night on the way to the Arran ferry. A few calves there as it was calving time while we were there”
