The food quality was quite poor and far below what you would expect from a hotel of this level. The animation/entertainment team was also underwhelming and did not provide enjoyable activities. What surprised me the most was that many services required extra charges, even though the hotel claims to be “all inclusive.” Staff frequently asked for additional payments for things that should have been included, which made the stay uncomfortable and frustrating. Overall, this hotel does not live up to its 5-star rating or its all-inclusive concept. I would not recommend it to others." Over half of the facilities were not open (none of the outdoor pools, swim up bar, water park for kids, none of the restaurants). 2\. Massive construction happening everywhere on the grounds and around the property… with all the noise, closed off sections etc. that come with that. 3\. Most of the staff spoke exactly zero English even though English is the first language advertised; overall it is not very Anglo-friendly at all. 4\. During the second half of our stay, there was a massive influx of guests but the number of staff stayed the same; service took a sharp turn for the worse. If you’re considering coming here, please do some digging and get as much information about the current conditions before making a purchase; especially if you’re from an English speaking country. The hotel has two pools. The indoor pool is kept at 27 degrees all year. Multiple restaurants with an awesome breakfast. The hotel staff is super friendly, helpful and kind. The beds are very comfortable and they clean the rooms each day. It has a gym with tons of equipment. Highly recommend it. The bar is open 24x7 and they have all sorts of activities at indigo bar by the pool."
