"We greatly enjoyed our stay at the house just outside Twin Falls with the large deck overlooking the gorge/waterfall. On the deck we viewed quail, magpies, rabbits, squirrel, and a great horned owl and one night, a porcupine walked through the yard. The houses along the driveway are spread out, so there is a sense of privacy on the property. Renters should be aware that property is surrounded by farms, which we loved, but others might find pungent and noisy, and hatchery across river is bright at p.m. The house was comfortable with fun decor, good towels, well stocked kitchen, and very clean but could have used bedside lamps/endtables, dining chairs (not stools) and bath towel hooks, and some niceties like a laundry basket and suitcase racks. During the heat wave we appreciated the AC. We recommend a new showerhead in the regular bath and new handle in the master bath shower, screens in more windows and repairs to window handles, relocation of the microwave from pantry to a kitchen counter, and more drinking glasses. The laundry center was very appreciated, as we didn't have to pack as much on our trip. The property was just thirty minutes or less from Twin Falls bridge/waterfalls/Balanced Rock, and just down the road from the yummy Cloverleaf Creamery. The property made a great home base for a day trip to Craters of the Moon. The owner msg'd us at check in to make sure we were settling in. Overall, we had a fun and relaxing time and recommend the Canyonside Retreat to all."

"This yurt was a delightful spot for an overnight stay on our way from SE Washington state to Boulder, CO. It was so much more unique than any of the freeway motels along the freeway.Although it may look small from the outside, it is VERY spacious inside: A nice living room, a well-furnished kitchen, a bedroom that can sleep 4 (there’s also a sofa bed in the living room), and a nice bathroom. Only the living room and the kitchen share a common space. The bedroom has extra insulation (more than the yurt fabric) to keep the room quieter.We talked to the owner briefly (very nice gentleman) — I think he told us the yurt was still a “work in progress” but if it is, it must be at 98 or 99% complete! The yurt is secluded across a small stream from the owner’s farm. The area is gorgeous countryside with rolling hills, trees, and pastures, with bluffs in the distance. We took a delightful walk along the adjacent country road before we left in the morning.The small town of Buhl is a short drive away and provides several options for dinner (probably breakfast, too; we went on to Twin Falls for breakfast). We had dinner at La Cabanita Mex restaurant in Buhl which was superb. The owner of the yurt recommended the Dante’s Inferno food truck in Buhl but it was closed both in the evening and the next morning.Bottom line: Highly Recommended!"

"This is the second time we’ve stayed in the hummingbird cabin. This place is so quaint and peaceful! We love sitting on the little deck with our morning coffee listening to the creek and watching the hummingbirds. It’s so quiet despite the highway being so close. "

"Our stay was great, we would definitely return. Little confused on arrival as house was listed as 4 bedroom, we never could find the 4th (psst...it's the living room) :) The house had everything we needed and the location was really nice though. We spent most our time outside and on the river, with the intention of a boating trip. The dock was great for dropping the boat in the water the length of our stay. Tony was amazing and very kind. Pthe bridge can be a bit noisy with traffic, but overall very peaceful mornings with birds, water, sunrise and coffee on the deck! We had 8 people (3 kids) and made out just fine with the kids in the living room. Will hopefully be back for another stay!"
