The closet in my room smelled ancient and dangerously bad; the towels also sometimes reek of a mildewy smell. Standards of cleanliness are very low - surfaces in the rooms are not thoroughly cleaned. Very nice breakfast. Very close to Monkey Forest but didn't seem to be too much else close by. Lots of places to eat and massage places. Although the room was great, the staff was the true gem. They made us feel so at home with their friendly energy and dedication to service. The internet is also excellent and fast. My girlfriend and I are both remote workers with her teaching via online video chat and had no troubles at all. Thanks so much for the wonderfully 2 weeks. There were a lot of ants in the bathroom near the shower area. The room was huge, so clean and very comfortable. The staff are exceptionally friendly and the breakfast was really good. Would love to go back again. The service was wonderful and friendly they seemed to genuinely care about their guests. My partner loved the food and was very happy eating breakfast there every morning! The place was clean and the grounds are very well taken care of. A few tips. It is slightly away from all of the action in Ubud, you can easily get places by cutting by the monkey forest during the day (do not transport anything in a plastic bag while doing so the monkeys will try to take it, not even slightly joking) but would not recommend doing so at night. The short cut is also a scooter path so beware of monkeys and traffic! The hotel does offer a free shuttle though and are so very accommodating. We used it anytime after dark or if we knew it was going to be a bit of a walk. I almost hate to put this in the review but you should know.... they are building another complex on the property and there is construction during the day Monday to Friday. If you need afternoon naps this is probably not the place for you. We used the shuttle service into the city a few times, this worked great. Avevamo le stanze a piano terra , piuttosto grandi e confortevoli, con piccolo patio davanti che dà su un gradevole spazio verde abbastanza ben tenuto. La posizione delle stanze al piano terra è tale da non permettere una grande privacy con le finestrelle aperte. La piscina è carina ma nel periodo del nostro soggiorno poco agibile a causa di lavori edili che si tenevano nelle immediate vicinanze. Buona e piuttosto abbondante la colazione, servita nel ristorantino della struttura con molto garbo e cura dei particolari. La posizione è piuttosto comoda: nella strada dell'hotel altri ristoranti dove poter cenare, alcuni negozi di artigianato locale e la foresta delle scimmie a due passi. The pool is tiny and a bit dirty. The service was good and so the breakfast. But the rooms were not as clean as you would wish and the matrass very hard and uncomfortable. Walking distance to Ubud. Clean, tidy, comfortable with lovely gardens and pool. A good breakfast is included. Rooms are air-conditioned and come with TV, refrigerator and kettle.
