“This spotlessly clean home is set far off the road in a woodland setting along a river. The large windows and light-colored wood make the home feel bright and cheery even on overcast days. The kitchen is well-supplied with nice cook ware and there is plenty of seating at the dining table. Our family (3-year old grandson, son/daughter-in-law, ourselves) had plenty of comfortable private and shared space. “The house had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The furnishings, the beds and bedding, the kitchen supplies - all were great. We had one sunny day when we enjoyed the magnificent view from the deck. When the rains came on day two, the view was different, but still beautiful. The location is wonderful, and we were able to easily explore Hood River, White Salmon, and the surrounding areas. Would definitely rent here again.”

“The property is very "HGTV" and fun looking. Space was clean, organized, and well stocked. Only "minus" is the proximity to a rather busy road, but then it's also a short trip to coffee and restaurants.”

“This four bedroom, three bath condo on two floors was ideal for our family of three couples and two little ones, ages 2 and 5. The beds and rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, as were the baths, but the little ones were ecstatic when they walked into the downstairs play room, so thoughtfully filled with toys and/or games for all ages, from the stuffed animals sitting in the chairs to the colorful art on the walls. “Perfect little cabin with amazing views! Bed was huge and super comfy, wildlife watching off the deck, close to all kinds of trails and waterfalls. Hosts provide some great personal touches. Highly recommend for a couple, plenty of space.”

“The Columbia Tree House was located very close, walking distance to downtown Hood River. This VRBO offered an excellent view of the Columbia River. We spent a lot of time just lounging on the back deck enjoying the great weather and the tremendous view of the river. I would stay here again.”

The kitchen is very well equipped despite not having a stove/oven, and it’s clear the owners have put in every effort to make sure you have everything you need. We mostly missed out on the absolutely beautiful mt. hood views due to rain - I guess we’ll have to visit again soon!”
