For the price I paid, I expected luxury, not just clean and friendly. The location was good, the beds comfortable and the room was quiet. Pay extra for breakfast and housekeeping only on demand. The hot tub is outdoors but the small pool is indoors. The tiniest bathroom with minimal amenities. We stayed 4 nights and liked Canmore.

Very clean room. Free parking and great location

Let me start with the positives. The staff was courteous, the room was clean and the property has a very nice restaurant with great food and nice views. Unfortunately, this hotel has a few negatives that degrades from its overall appeal as a property that markets itself as an upper mid-tier. For starters, the property does not have an elevator, which will make it difficult for people with mobility issues. Second, the decor of the room reminds me of a Motel 6 -- no closet, low-grade oak furniture, 3 floor lamps that may have been purchased at Ikea, no safe and a frameless mirror glued to the wall. The bed was fine, which was a plus. The property faces Highway 1 with its best rooms (view rooms) facing the highway. We had to sleep with ear plugs due to the road noise. If you do stay here, ask for a room away from the highway.
