This is our go to place to stay when visiting my dad in Maine. Charming, quiet, beautiful gardens and great coffee and banana bread made by Steve who is a gracious host. Wonderful screened in porch to sit and chat or relax and take in the beauty of the gardens.

Can’t say enough about this inn. Truly a gem. Cozy, clean and comfortable. A lot of careful thought went into creating the ambiance and design. Period antiques… whimsical without being over the top. The gardens were lovingly cared for, in addition. Highly recommend.

Steve (the host) was a GEM! He was so accommodating when my partner and I were attending a wedding nearby (but were running late), and got us into our room quickly. The property was immaculate, cozy, and. the grounds were so well maintained (plus, the AC was frigid). We'd love to come back!

Steve was the best and did a phenomenal job making us feel welcome. The beds and pillows were SO comfortable and we had the best night's sleep. His suggestions of local attractions were so helpful and we loved the area so so much. We can't wait to be back!

Our family of three had a very comfortable night's stay on this beautiful property in June. We stayed in one of the rooms that had its own bathroom inside it. Plenty of space in the bedroom and in the common spaces, like the dining area and the upstairs landings. An in-room AC unit kept the air temperature just right. Very nice host and the banana bread for breakfast was a nice touch. We'd definitely come back if ever in the area again!

Beautiful surrounding grounds, lovely, quiet inn. Steve was wonderfully welcoming and informative. We enjoyed a quiet cozy evening, and it is so close to the Pemaquid Lighthouse which is open for a tour with a museum below.

Lovely Stay

Amazing inn- super clean, super comfortable (with good shower pressure), easy check-in/check-out, fantastic location (so close to New Harbor and great little towns), and super friendly staff (Steve!). Wish I had stayed longer!!
