This was a very pleasant Inn. The staff are extremely friendly and the accommodations were comfortable. I plan to return next January as the neighborhood has so many accessible stores in walking distance. I no longer drive so a cab ride to museums, etc affordable. The on site restaurant is on par with great Italian restaurants in NYC. I had cooking facilities so only ate there once but I've let others know of the quality go the menu.

The room was immaculate and very roomy. What stood out the most about the River Inn is the outstanding staff that we encountered at the front desk, the valet, and the restaurant. Friendly and so happy to help out any way they could, the staff made our stay so enjoyable. We’ll be back when in DC!

The River Inn has the nicest staff I think I’ve ever encountered. Every single person working there was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond - they all seem to genuinely enjoy working there. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was fine, a bit outdated, but it met my needs just fine.

La habitación está increíble, muy limpia espaciosa y tiene todo para pasar una gran estancia. Lo único malo fue que en nuestro último día, hubo un problema con la tubería y se inundó el cuarto de calderas y estuvimos todo el día sin agua, por suerte fue en nuestro último día y aprovechamos para salir todo el día y debido a eso, no nos cobraron el late check out
