"Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer im Hotel Engel. Das Zimmer war sauber und es war alles da was man braucht. Es gab sogar einen Wasserkocher sowie Kaffe, Tee und Kaffeesahne. Das Zimmer war hell und freundlich. Das Bad schon etwas älter, aber ok.
Leider hat in meinem Zimmer die Kaltwasserzufuhr nicht richtig funktioniert. Abends war duschen nicht möglich, und morgens mit viel Glück ganz kurz mit ganz wenig Wasser. Besonders jetzt in der warmen Jahreszeit sehr unangenehm. Uch hatte dies an der Rezeption...

We had 2 nights with dinner in buffet style, that is certainly not something we will take again, the first evening the service was ok, but the second evening, the plates of the first dish where still on the table and it was difficult to order a drink. The food was ok, but certainly not value for...

"Hospitality second to none. Very nice home setting with great breakfast. I gave them an average rating on "Comfort" simply because their bath room was incredibly small. I am a big boy and my wife had several laughs at me meeting the challenge.

"Nice hotel close to wine pubs/restaurants. Clean and modern with nice buffet breakfast. Very nice staff at breakfast time. Terrible check in experience. Arrived before 3 (the stated check in time) and reception was closed. Waited abs waited. Could not reach hotel by phone or via doorbell until somebody came at 4pm - there was no apology, just a remark that the stated checkin time of 3 pm was not applicable since the boss was not around. Really??? There was no message or door sign to that...

"Excellent accommodation spotlessly clean, looks recently refurbished with everything you need. Owners very helpful and accommodating. Tea, coffee and some essential toiletries were available. Basement apartment is lovely and cool in the hot weather, with private entrance and access to the lovely garden. It is within easy walking distance of a large REWE supermarket in the next village,and also has several excellent vineyards within a km. "
