"This place was great, expensive but everything here is crazy expensive. We had a lovely balcony and our room and bed was comfortable. Only complaint is the front for really hard to open and twice we caught the front door left wide open and nobody around at all but you can’t control some guests I guess. Also the heating in the room took a long time to warm the room and it was chilly on our visit but once we got it there it was better. Happy with our stay."

"The location was great right in front of the park where the paragliders land and with a view of the snow capped mountains. Fifteen minutes walk from both interlaken east and west stations. Halal food places nearby. Inside the hotel looked nice and clean though the rooms were very basic. The front of the building however looked awful...really run down and I was shocked when I saw it. The photos on the listing only show the building at night in the dark with lights on so you can't really tell. It's a shame because it really lets the hotel down. Also the breakfast buffet had very limited options considering it wasn't a cheap hotel. I was quite disappointed because I had expected more."

"Location was perfect - close to shops and grocery stores (to help cut the cost of very expensive dining out in Switzerland). Short walk to Interlaken West train station. Easy bus access. Breakfast was included and was VERY good - lots of variety and delicious! Beds/pillows were very comfortable. The hotel is older, and room was pretty basic - no bedside lamps (NOT a game changer), and no A/C, which we discovered is common in Switzerland. Temperatures were warm (high twenty's) during our stay, but we were given 2 floor fans which really helped to keep things comfortable. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend."

"We had a bad experience at a nearby hotel and changed for our last couple of days here. The contrast couldnt have been more obvious. The Bellevue excellent in every way as a four star hotel. Location by the river with a lovely terrace at the back; especially the staff; and the great rooms with balconies. Big thanks especially to Jurg and Jenny who were always so helpful. highly recommended for a few days in interlaken."
