2 bedroom maisonette with fabulous Abbey and sea views

Chim-chimney is a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment offering spectacular views of Whitby Abbey and out to sea.
Located in the centre of town on a quiet street, it is less than a 10 minute stroll to the beach.

The apartment is spacious, light and airy and contains a well-equipped family kitchen with dining area, separate lounge with Abbey View and family bathroom with wash basin, toilet, bath and shower. There is also a separate toilet.

Our maisonette sleeps 4 adults with it having 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom with Abbey and sea views out of the master bedroom. It has a spacious hallway for storage of bags, bikes, walking equipment and your doggy essentials!
We also have parking vouchers available that allow free parking in permitted areas in nearby streets.

We are also happy to accommodate 1 well behaved dog for which towels and bowls will be provided to make their stay as comfortable as yours!
Our property is comprehensively alarmed with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
Please note this is a no smoking property.

We just finished a lovely stay in Whitby exploring the seaside town and nearby Yorkshire. We enjoyed the special little touches in the apartment to make it easy to settle in (the kids loved the box of games!). The apartment was in a good location to wander Whitby, both nearby pubs, the abbey, and the shore.

Very pleasant stay
The property is situated in a great location a few minutes away from a beach by car (actually even a walking distance, we’ve a dog so had to drive a bit further) tasty fish & chips 50metres away, another shops, restaurants & harbour within 5-10minutes walking distance. The neighbourhood was quite & we always found a parking nearby + owners supply the parking permit scratch card. They also supply tea, coffee & sugar, which was nice as another property we rented last year didn’t. Everything was in working order, enough cupboard space … so we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely stay here again. Thank you

Lovely apartment in a central location everything provided- well equipped kitchen (fresh milk greatly appreciated!) bathroom with good shower pressure and views from the relaxing front bedroom looking at the abbey and church really added to the whole experience. Our first visit to Whitby and we will definitely return and hopefully stay in the same property especially as was dog friendly and Monty our mini sausage dog loved it as much as we did xxx

Love the accommodation, perfect location. Well stocked and prepared before our arrival before a friends stag do. Didn’t have to worry much about milk etc just arrived showered the straight back out didn’t have to worry about anything. Loved the place felt great as soon as we walked in. Everything was there we could need for our stay, which mainly consisted of a bottle opener and glasses but that was great. Only downside was the curtains in the front bedroom basically did nothing against the light and was woken up quite early from it. But the view was amazing and so so central, loved it, would definitely stay again.

Wish we had gone for an apartment here years ago. We have always gone B&B and have gone to Whitby for around 10 years now. This maisonette had everything we needed, with extras which were really appreciated eg.tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, milk, cleaning products, toiletries. It’s located away from the riverside but easy walking distance. There are some quant little shops and a really good fish shop on the same street. We had a really good weekend there, amazing place. Lovely apartment with views over rooftops to Marina and the sea. If staying for a week our only preference would have been maybe a washing machine rather than a dishwasher, but that's just a personal choice.
