“Lovely hotel for our week long stay exploring the area. Staff were friendly, welcoming and informative. We made great use of the Sud Tirol Pass that allowed free travel on cable cars (also on buses and trains but we had a car). Breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of homemade items and local apple juice. The homemade ice cream was sampled a lot. Local beers and wines in the bar - everything felt as if it was zero food miles, which we love. The pool and garden are immaculate. We can’t wait to……

“The hotel has a small number of rooms and is attached to a bar/tobacconist in the centre of Salorno, in the Dolomites. There is plenty of parking and the staff are really helpful and spoke good English, and the rooms clean and very functional (although the Wifi wasn't massively reliable). The breakfast is simple but plentiful, although you need to wait to get served for coffee, which can impact you if you're in a hurry. “There were three people of us and we stayed at Ideal Park for one week. The double room was great but the single room is rather too small. The free Wifi connection is a plus with great variety of breakfast and dinner that us to change the menu everyday. Receptionists were all very friendly and helpful. There was a supermarket and nice icrecream shop nearby. Direct bus to the city of Bolzano was also convenient, Overall, we liked the hotel and would definitely choose to come back next time.”

“The room was clean, and the bathroom was spotless. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the owner himself is a wonderful person who clearly works very hard. The view was excellent. Breakfast was good, and the restaurant was also very good, with excellent service, quality food, and fair prices. The bed was comfortable, although it made some noise. The walls are quite thin, so you can hear your neighbors talking and using the bathroom, but it was still tolerable. Overall, the positives far……

“This is a family run operation and it is so well done. Our room was comfortable and the view from the balcony was spectacular. Breakfast was always ready and the choice to be outside or inside was nice. We always selected outside for the scenery. The room had nice extras for places to hang your incidental washing. Helga was wonderful, welcoming and so helpful. We even stayed an extra day because everything was working so well. We highly recommend.”

“I don’t think the pictures here do the hotel justice. We spent nights on the balcony enjoying the view over the vines and valley. Staff are friendly and present. Pool is good size and more sunbeds available to use on terrace. The sunbeds could do with updating (quite uncomfortable). The small kitchen unit in the room was handy if you choose to self cater. I would have loved more luxurious towels and pool towels too. Minor criticisms though for a super hotel. There’s some super restaurants……

“My room was simple but comfortable. There’s a good spread and variety for breakfast, which is included. Dinner is available (at an extra cost) and is well worth it. Close to the Mountain Museum (walking distance). There’s a bus that goes into Bolzano/Bozen, bus stop is less than 5 mins away and it takes about 20 mins to get into the city. The staff are exceptional — helpful and kind. Beautiful, scenic surroundings.”

“Hôtel très cher pour le peu de service qui est offert !!! Possible de payer 20 euros pour le stationnement de l'hôtel ou de laisser une carte d'identité avec de l'argent pour avoir une vignette afin de se stationner plus facilement. Cependant, à un coin de rue, nous avons pu nous stationner gratuitement de 19h à 8h. Il n'y avait pas un service de 24h en cas de pépin. Dans la chambre, il n'y avait pas de coffre-fort ni de petit réfrigérateur.”
