Inspired by the shipwrecks of the New Jersey coast, Raging Waters combines fast-paced water slides with child-friendly playgrounds to splash around in. Bring your swimming costume and sunscreen and come here for a day of family fun. This popular water park is run by the Morey Brothers, the developers of the wider entertainment precinct along the foreshore of Wildwood, on the Jersey coast. From humble beginnings in the 1950s, the brothers have created a thriving amusement precinct and the Raging Waters park sits at its center.Arrive early to avoid long lines and start your day with breakfast above the ocean, aboard Raging Water’s Ferris wheel. Enjoy scrambled eggs or a lobster omelet as you gently sway 156 feet (47 meters) above the Jersey Shore. Enjoy some of the best views in the area and take in the coastline from above.Hit the water to experience the thrills of Raging Waters’ extensive selection of water slides. Race a friend at Shotgun Falls, the parallel water slides that shoot you from 6 feet (2 meters) high into the pool beneath. Cruise down the park’s seemingly endless river on an inflatable tube, or take the kids to Camp KidTastrophe with its water guns and child-friendly pools. Raging Waters is located in the heart of Wildwood’s boardwalk, about 45 miles (72 kilometers) south of Atlantic City. You can get there by car, with metered street parking available next to the boardwalk. Raging Waters is also serviced by public transport from the heart of Atlantic City. Raging Waters is open daily. Combine your trip with a visit to the Ocean Oasis Waterpark and Beach Club, which are included in the All-Day Pass. Admission prices depend on your height and are cheaper for smaller children, who can’t go on all rides.
