"The photos make this property look a lot better than the reality. The reality is that the house is very tired and in need of TLC. The entire place stank of bleach when we arrived, yet simple things like cobwebs and dirty cupboard doors had not been cleaned. Half eaten and opened food from previous guests had been left in the cupboards. Bugs were found in one bed. Packets of rizla were found by our children in the garden on the furniture. "Excellent location and we used a local pub the Cheshire Cat, which was superb. The only issues we had were that it is described as having a walk in shower, but it is over the bath. My wife is disabled, so this was an issue. The sofas are very very low, and difficult to get up from, and we could not find the WiFi information anywhere. As it was a short break, we decided to just use data. Overall it is a good base to visit Chester."
