"The hotel was nested between the Yangshuo mountains, it was a beautiful place, very clean and comfortable. During our stay Alice was very helpful with everything, she put a lot of effort to make us feel 100% comfortable and to make sure we had everything we needed to make the most of our stay. She helped us out booking the photographer and the transfers to the railway station and solving all the doubts we had. She also was super nice and friendly, it was a real pleasure talking to her every single time! Thank you so much for making our stay feel the best Alice!"
"Garden Zen was truly an amazing resort nestled along the Yulong River allowing you to discover the region at your own pace while enjoying quality amenities and top-notch service. Pool was amazing in the heat and we got to enjoy morning meditation and Tai Chi sessions!"
"This is a gem of a hotel. Tucked away so you wouldn’t even know it was there. We arrived at night and it was beautifully lit and in a gorgeous setting. The staff are wonderful- friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The chef is great - highly recommend having dinner there. They also booked a tour and guide for us which was great. Everyone and everything is perfect."
"A wonderful stay in Yangshuo and easily a 5-star experience for us. The location is excellent—very convenient and walkable—and it felt like everything had been thoughtfully arranged with travelers in mind.
What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, spoke excellent English, and was always happy to answer questions or find a solution to anything we asked. The hotel also offers far more than we expected: good coffee, plenty of food and drink choices (including alcohol), with free delivery to the room, as well as in-room massage, cooking classes, and even art and calligraphy classes on the premises.
The combination of location, service, convenience, and all the little extras made our stay especially enjoyable. We would happily stay at Yangshuo Riverview Hotel again and definitely recommend it."
"The staff were
really helpful especially for booking a six seater luxury Van to get us the railway station the night before. Breakfast was good. The pool was a little under maintained, but the kids had a good time. The room was spacious and clean. The view was also very nice. No complaints."
"The staff at this hotel were amazing and couldn’t do enough for you. They have e-bikes which you can rent. One of the staff even came and found me when I got lost!! The property is about 7km from the town but very doable if you take the e-bikes and the hotel provides helmets.
The pool is very instagrammable! The views were amazing. They also have local costumes available for dressing up in if that appeals.
There are lots of high tech gizmos, including a Japanese style toilet, a movie screen that comes down from the roof and automated curtains. All can be controlled by voice commands (if you speak Chinese)!
This was our favourite hotel and we’d love to go back."
"Li Resort was a welcome quiet respite near bustling Yangshuo. The friendly and accommodating full-service staff took care of all our logistics to/ from the train and the sites during our stay. They also made a good coffee! I truly enjoyed my morning yoga in the glass gym by the pool, looking out at the misty, karst geography. Our room was well-designed for families with kids. While we experienced many Instagram moments around the rice fields, the resort itself was our highlight from Yangshuo."
Hostels are a great way to stay for a lower cost, so you can save more for exploring. You can enjoy activities like biking, and the mountain views create an appealing natural setting.
