◎ To make your desert stay even cooler for the summer, Homestead Modern has teamed up with The Joshua Tree Retreat Center to grant you exclusive access to their pool facilities during the months of May - August.  The pool is located on the historic Joshua Tree Retreat Center Campus, 6.1 miles from Sundown Ridge.  Access hours are 8AM to 9PM and guests in your reservation will receive complementary access to the pool facility. It’s the ultimate way to beat the Mojave heat and soak in those iconic Joshua Tree views and the Retreat Center has an organic cafe nearby as well.

Guest Access:

As guests, you can enjoy full access to the entire home. Only registered guests are allowed unless specifically agreed upon during the booking process.

Yucca Mesa offers a peaceful residential vibe with incredible stargazing, while remaining centrally located between the High Desert’s most iconic destinations.

Getting Around:

This is a remote location down dirt roads, so please take it slow. While a car is required to get around, a four wheel drive car is not, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain.



Other Things to Note:

•ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE PROTECTION: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $1000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.



• EVENTS & COMMERCIAL PHOTOSHOOTS: Are not permitted without prior approval, applicable permit and additional fees.



• DOGS: Your dog is welcome and there is a one time fee of $100. Please alert us in advance. Max of 2 dogs. No other types of animals are authorized.



• CELL SERVICE: Cell phone service availability and quality in the high desert varies by service provider. This is particularly true in the more remote areas of Joshua Tree, Pipes Canyon, and Pioneertown. Please be prepared by enabling wifi calling or downloading a VOIP program.



• ROAD CONDITIONS: Many roads are dirt, so please take it slow. A four wheel drive car is not required, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain
