“I rarely leave negative reviews, but my stay at this establishment was deeply disappointing from start to finish. While the building is a converted convent, the "charm" of the historical setting is completely overshadowed by poor management and a lack of basic hygiene. The Room and Facilities The rooms are essentially old monastic cells—which would be fine if they were clean and well-maintained. However, having the bathroom located outside the room was just the beginning of the trouble. The……

![Here is a little unusual photo from me, but with a lot's of meaning. I was visiting the place I spend a big part of my childhood called - Resort Klášter Želiv. This town has a very famous church and monastery listed in UNESCO which use to be a care home and hospital back in the days. It is now going through big refurbishment and it's once again returning to its former glory. I was super happy to see some of the interiors and here is one of my favourite photos.
