Relaxing and have lots of fun in the small island. Staffs are nice and the overwater villa is excellent. Though insufficient subshine, we have great time there.

The staffs are nice. The room is clean but quite a lot insect in the lagoon villas. The environment is perfect.The food is excellent. The service and arrangement is nice.
The only bad thing is that the Chinese mainlanders and the babies are very noisy.

We enjoyed 7 days holiday with family in this very nice hotel, management did a good job to maintain the overall environment, it is clean at the beach/road/room, it is really a good and beautiful hotel. And thanks to the Kids Club, they took good care of my kids (interesting diversified activities) so that I could enjoy my time with my wife...
But some restaurant works are not good at all -
1. Sunset BBQ restaurant (if I remembered the name correct), they oversell / hard sell in alcoholic, I know it is very expensive, maybe that is the reason they made hard push...
2. Staff (I heard customer called his name Anthony) worked at Juice Station at breakfast restaurant which is located next to Kids Club, his working attitude is really bad. I pointed out that he should take off the apple sticker before he made apple juice, then he did not like me at the next few days. And I found he never take off the apple stick all the time, day after day. It was terrible.

It was a wonderful stay at Velassaru. Everything was perfect. The staffs were caring and professional. Foods were plenty and delicious. We especially enjoyed the excursions such as dolphin discovery and shark snorkelling. Highly recommended !

Poorest resort in the world
"I have a poorest experience in OBLU Helengeli resort. This is my fifth times to Maldives but the experience in the resort destroy my whole holiday with family. All the staffs and managers on the island are not helpful and friendly, they can not give helps when I have problems in doing the reservation ..."

"When I take the boat transfer back to airport, the staff doesn’t slow down the boat while the tide come. My skirt get fully wet. The floor of villa is broken. My villa is out of electricity twice within 4 days. The variety of food is limited."

"A large size resort with various of activities, from diving to parasailing, even kart racing. There a many reefs, in good conditional, for snorkeling.
