Deluxe rooms are a hike up 5-7 flights of stairs, no elevator. Not recommended if you have small kids. Room was dirty and poorly cleaned. Shower head was broken and needed to call maintenance. My free upgrade was not given, even though rooms was available. But seemed to be an issue w hotels.com and not the hotel.

Great location and 15 years ago. It's obvious the resort was the top place to stay on the whole island. Now, it needs a major rejuvenation to update plumbing, the room decor and the reception areas. Staff were generally good, but it took a long time to change our room into something resembling a three star resort. We

The hotel is good but not excellent The hotel is good and well appointed, as are the rooms but it’s lacking a little finesse. Some of the team were lovely while others were merely ok in that they didn’t go the extra mile, anticipating what guests require. It felt like some were just going through the motions. The maintenance of the hotel was good but clearly had some snagging issues such as broken tiles, woodwork peeling on sun loungers and decking, etc. Would I return? No, for the price I paid, there are better similar priced establishments.
