We selected the hotel for the view, but the rooms we were given this time did not have a view of the fjord. It was very accessible with a bus stop in front of the entrance. The restaurant was very good, despite the limited selection. The breakfast had a wide selection.

Having the hotel linked to the airport was ao helpful. The food was beyond delicious. Our room was spacious, quiet, and bedding was very comfortable. Staff were very accommodating, allowing us to check in early. This hotel has it all!

Fun, characterful, building and great staff.

For a Hilton this was a disappointment. The "partial sea-view" that I paid extra for was a view of trees and the building across the street (the actual sea-side wing). The staff were lovely, but the bed was quite hard, and the in-room coffee was powdered instant coffee. It felt like a 3 star hotel by North American standards. I chose to stay a bit outside the city centre for the sea view and regretted this as I ended up spending quite a bit on transfers to the major tourist attractions without much of a view.

Delightful stays. First I stayed several nights in a hotel cell room, small but adequate and comfortable. Wonderful breakfast buffet and delicious evening dining outside. Slept great once I took comforter out of duvet covering so did not overheat. Easy walk to bus stop and to train/subway station. Perfect location for getting on the water (via the canal) to standup paddle board (I travel with my own compact inflatable) around the islands and lake but also kayak rental close by. Couple weeks later I needed several more nights in Stockholm and only the hostel had an available room, great stay with my private cell and no issues using the shared bathrooms and showers. Lovely historic setting, would definitely stay there again! Helpful staff, beautiful views, always felt safe walking around in the area.
