Welcoming stay at a renovated hotel. Friendly staff and large newly appointed room with balcony and sea view across the street. Very close to Niendorf harbour. Overall excellent stay and would certainly come again.

Convenient location but the approach was not great- overaly crowded and although there were no issues - there was always a police presence and one did not feel very safe.

We only stayed one night and enjoyed it

Fantastic hotel, super comfortable, luxe quality and wonderful service. Love the amenties and hanging out in the library with tea, cake and books. It was our 2nd stay and didn't disappoint.

Main bed was big & comfortable (spare bed a bit springy) that my son had. Asked for more tea bags as not many supplied in the room but no problem getting them. Water a bit expensive in hotel so advise buying outside along with milk. Had drinks in bar twice, staff very good & price ok compared with the area. Good location near station and shopping mall with supermarket (rewe)

The hotel was clean, staff was helpful.. Check in was good. However, it was on a busy roundabout with hundreds of trucks daily. As someone from North America relying on air conditioning, the room was dreadfully hot. As one could not always keep the windows open because of street traffic it made for unpleasant sleeping. We were there for 6 nights. If coming in the summer, Hamburg is getting hotter. Pick a place with AC if you are used to it. I know many Europeans did not mind as our hotel was full of them..
